Nutritious facts:

Shrimp are an excellent source of trypophan, selenium and protein. They contain low levels of fat and calories and have no carbohydrates or trans fatty acids. Our shrimp provide beneficial levels of vitamins B3, B6, B12, vitamin D and Omega-3 fatty acids.

Dungeness crab is as nutritious as it is tasty. A 3oz portion of cooked meat has 19g of protein and contains important minerals and amino acids. It is low in both fat and calories, as well as cholesterol and carbohydrates.


 

Recipe

Butch & Cubba's Famous Peel and Eat Shrimp and crab boil
Needed - Large pot, strainer, whole celery stock, 3-4 onions peeled and a couple bay leaves. Place pot on medium heat Chop celery and onions in I inch pieces (do not chop fine). Put a little butter or wine in pot then add all above ingredients. Let simmer for 20 minutes or until the onions become transparent. Fill pot up with water, turn on high heat and let it boil for 20 minutes to 1 hour (the longer the better). Strain out vegetables. Change heat setting to high with lid on until you see it boiling rapidly. Add shrimp and cook shrimp for 3-4 minutes or Crab for 8 minutes per pound. Pour in sink and eat hot or cold.
Optional - Blanch by adding ice while in sink.
